1007 AL PolyUrea Spray

1007 AL Aliphatic PolyUrea is a two-component, 100% solids, rapid-set, high-performance polyurea spray elastomer. It is aliphatic, color-fast, and designed for exceptional physical properties, hydrolytic stability, and low permeability, while offering excellent UV stability and appearance.

Unique Properties

  • Set Time: 15-20 seconds; tack-free in 60 seconds.
  • Elongation: 300%-400%.
  • Temperature Range: Suitable for -20°F to 200°F substrate temperatures.
  • Compliance: Meets USDA standards for incidental food contact and Federal Specification A-A-59800A for Polyurea Type I & II.

Advantages

  • Fully aliphatic and UV-stable.
  • High elongation (400%+).
  • Ideal for applications in containment, refineries, chemical plants, and marine environments.
  • Protects concrete and other surfaces.
  • High resistance to chemicals, impact, and abrasion.

Use Areas

  • Applications requiring color stability and good appearance.
  • Secondary containment with non-skid features.
  • Corrosive barriers and protective coatings.
  • Industrial service surfaces.
  • Concrete and steel tanks.

Priming and Moisture Vapor Reduction

  • Use ASTC primer PenPrime or Nova Bar 6009 epoxy for optimal results.
  • Apply moisture vapor reducers (e.g., ASTC CMW) for additional protection, particularly for water features or surfaces exposed to direct sunlight.
