  • Suitable for cold applications (-20°F).
  • “Drive-over” ready in 20–30 minutes.
  • Excellent abrasion and impact resistance.
  • Chemical-resistant, non-flammable, and moisture-tolerant.
  • No VOC, no odor, self-leveling.

Unique Characteristics

  • Low viscosity enables deep penetration and “nano-locking” into joint walls.
  • Quick-setting; grindable and scrapable within minutes.
  • Remains durable without becoming brittle over time.
  • Ideal for continuous-operation facilities.

Use Cases

  • Expansion and control joints in interior concrete.
  • Cold storage/freezer thresholds.
  • Cracks and spalls.
  • Utility cuts.
  • Cable runs and inductive loops.
  • Saw cuts.

Preparation

  1. Ensure a minimum 28-day concrete cure.
  2. Use a dry diamond saw to abrade joint walls to a depth of 1.25 inches.
  3. Remove contaminants, such as curing agents, oils, or wax.
  4. Clean, vacuum, and wash joint walls thoroughly.
  5. Perform an acetone wash for improved bonding.
  6. Use backer rods only in construction joints.

Priming & Moisture Vapor Reduction

  • Areas with high moisture vapor should be pre-treated with ASTC CMW.
  • Use the 8000 CMW primer to reduce vapor pressure.

Application

  • Use ASTC-recommended 1:1 pump equipment.
  • Warm the product to 80°F–90°F before use in cold environments.
  • Trim over-pour with a razor cutter 15–20 minutes after application.

Static Mixer & Tip

  • Use ASTC-provided or recommended static mixers for optimal results.
  • Use a copper tip to fill joints from the bottom up, reducing air entrapment.
  • Change static mixers every 20 gallons to prevent product build-up.

Limitations

  • Do not use on wet surfaces or expose Part A to moisture.
  • Store in a cool environment, protected from direct sunlight and extreme cold.
  • Professional use only; refer to MSDS before application.

Additional Notes

  • Set time varies with temperature and humidity.
  • High environmental temperatures shorten pot life and increase set speed.
  • For excessively warm products, test a small amount to assess pot life.
