Preparation

Concrete Cure: Ensure a minimum 28-day cure.
Surface Cleaning: Remove contaminants like oils, wax, and curing agents.
Profile Creation: Provide a rough surface profile (2-3 mils) for optimal bonding.
Moisture Testing: Use ASTM F1869 to measure moisture vapor transmission (MVT).

Priming & Moisture Vapor Reduction

Self-priming or compatible with ASTC primers like 6000 Series Epoxy Primer, 7001 Pen Prime, and 8000 CMW.
For MVT above 3 lbs/1,000 sq ft/24 hrs, use 6007 Nova Bar Epoxy Primer.

Application Guidelines

Mixing: Combine parts A and B at a 1A:2B ratio (100% Solids version) using a jiffy mixer at slow speed.
Pigment Addition:
- Add 12–14 oz of ASTC pigment per gallon.
- For white, add 16 oz per gallon.
- Add 3–4 oz of xylene for better pigment dispersion.
Coating:
- Apply with a squeegee and back-roll using a 1/4″-3/8″ nap roller.
- Apply thin coats of 5–10 mils.
- Recoat within 1–2 hours or after light sanding if exceeded.

Limitations

Not resistant to all tire stains; use with compatible vapor barriers if needed.
Do not use on wet surfaces or expose to moisture.
Store kits on wood pallets at room temperature and out of direct sunlight.
